  • Changes in balance, muscle strength and flexibility
  • Health conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and osteoporosis

  • Home environment (loose rugs, poor lighting, stairs)

What is the purpose of Fall Prevention Program?

The purpose of the program is to address concerns of Physicians and patients by helping individuals overcome the fear of falling, to prevent falls, and to promote a more active and healthy lifestyle among its participants.

There is extensive literature, which indicates that falls can be prevented if the needed changes are made in people’s lives. The falls prevention program includes both an educational and active components like Balance training, Strength Training.
